PineChord Affiliate Program — Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

You must hold an active PineChord customer account in good standing to apply. Approval is at PineChord's sole discretion. Self-referrals (using your own code on your own account) are not permitted and will be voided.

2. Commission

The default commission rate is 20% of the net amount paid by each referred customer (after any discount or coupon). PineChord may set a custom rate per affiliate at any time. Commission accrues on each successful payment:

  • Monthly subscriptions — commission on every monthly renewal, for as long as the customer continues to pay.
  • Annual subscriptions — one commission per annual payment.
  • Trials and free plans pay no commission.
  • Commissions are calculated on the actual amount charged in USD.
3. Attribution

When a visitor clicks your referral link, a cookie is stored on their browser for 30 days. If they register a new PineChord customer account within that window, the referral is permanently attributed to you for all of that customer's future paid plans. Last-click wins if multiple affiliates are involved before signup.

4. Refunds & Voids

PineChord does not issue refunds; cancelled subscriptions remain active until period end. As such, commissions become available immediately on payment. However, PineChord reserves the right to void commissions resulting from chargebacks, fraud, fake accounts, self-referrals, prohibited promotion methods, or any breach of these Terms.

5. Payouts

You may request a payout once your approved balance reaches at least $50. Payouts are processed manually within seven (7) business days via the method on file (PayPal, bank transfer, crypto, or other agreed channel). You are responsible for any fees on your end and for any taxes due in your jurisdiction.

6. Promotion Standards

You agree NOT to:

  • Use spam, unsolicited email, or bulk messaging.
  • Bid on PineChord-branded keywords in paid search.
  • Misrepresent PineChord, fabricate reviews, or guarantee profits.
  • Use cookie-stuffing, iframe-jacking, ad-injection, or similar deceptive techniques.
  • Promote PineChord on adult, hateful, or unlawful sites.
  • Offer cashback or rebates from your commission without prior written approval.
7. Suspension & Termination

PineChord may suspend or terminate your participation at any time, with or without notice, including (but not limited to) for breach of these Terms, fraud, or low-quality referrals. On termination, any unpaid balance below the minimum payout threshold may be forfeited.

8. Independent Contractor

Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, partnership, or agency relationship. You may not represent yourself as an employee or authorized agent of PineChord.

9. Changes

PineChord may modify these Terms, the commission rate, the cookie window, or the minimum payout at any time. Changes apply prospectively. Continued participation after a change constitutes acceptance.

10. Limitation of Liability

PineChord's total liability under this program is capped at the unpaid commission balance owed to you. PineChord is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to PineChord's place of business. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in those courts.
